|Q - What was your biggest challenge in losing weight?
A - My biggest challenge is my inner voice that says its okay to have just a little bit of
something that I truly know isn’t good for me. I love to eat and it’s hard for me to
break old eating habits. Alondra is teaching me new ones.
Q – What made you to decide to get fit? What was your turning point?
A - I put on a bathing suit and looked in the mirror – what a sight! In addition to that, I
was heading for a big milestone birthday. At my age, I know it is important to do
strength training to maintain strong bones and cardio to keep the body moving and
Q – What was your plan for weight loss and diet?
A - I didn’t really have one except I knew I had to start working harder and smarter.
Alondra has helped me fulfill both of those requirements. I’ve got the Boot Camp
down and now I’m working on smarter eating habits.
Q - How are you able to maintain your new lifestyle?
A - I look forward to Boot Camp, so that part is easy. I always feel invigorated and
energetic when I’m done with a workout. The new eating plan is a recent challenge
for me and I intend to have the same success I have had with Boot Camp.
Q - Do you have any motivating secrets for success?
A - My motivation is seeing results; it’s encouraging to see positive changes in your
body when you stick with it. And of course - Alondra, Alondra, Alondra - a fantastic
Q – What is your current workout schedule?
A - I do four weekday Boot Camps and an occasional Saturday outdoor Boot Camp
workout when I can. I also do a 5 mile walk/run on most Sunday mornings.
